We ordered The Zoo. Don’t ask me what’s in it. Its ice cream. Its sherbert. It’s covered in whipped cream and sprinkles and cherries. Once you dig through the first layer it becomes “an unidentifiable morass of flavors” but its still an immense amount of fun! The singing has improved with Farrell’s own lyrics applied to acappella versions of today’s pop songs including “Baby Got Back” which they manage to pull off with family friendly sensitivity. We had burgers and fries and sliders and sandwiches and salads and sodas and then…we tackled The Zoo. The candy store is much smaller than my husband remembered as a child (or maybe he was just viewing it with grown up eyes) but I loved all the custom moustache items they created for themselves. With seven locations in Southern California there’s sure to be one near you! PS- There’s a Farrell’s in Buena Park practically across the street from Knotts Berry Farm.
