Petersen Auto Museum is a truly delightful car museum. I spent many fun days at the Peterson with my kids and their friends. Perfect for a rainy day. The second floor displays racecars, classic cars, vintage motorcycles, concept cars, celebrity and movie cars. On the third floor, kids play in a 6,500 square-foot “hands-on” learning center with all kinds of car-themed play equipment. Great birthday parties too! For parties, you can hire www.playparty.net to bring the most fabulous racecar birthday party to the museum. Non-stop fun! Separate room for cake/food. Adults ($10), Kids 5-12 ($3), Kids under 5 (FREE). Closed Mondays. Mid-Wilshire.
