One of the most unique places to stay in Los Angeles is the historic Marina Del Rey Hotel. Located at the end of the pier on Bali Drive, the hotel is surrounded on three sides by boats in the Marina.
Built in 1964, the hotel has been home to many celebrities, events and boating enthusiasts. The hotel recently underwent a complete renovation and reopened in early 2015. Inside, you’ll find pictures that speak to the beginning of Marina Del Rey Hotel, as they wanted to bring this historical element in to the modern renovation. The hotel features 164 guest rooms and suites, SALT Restaurant & Bar, premier event space, and a heated infinity pool surrounded by cabanas, daybeds, and lounge chairs.
On the weekends, SALT Restaurant & Bar, is the perfect place for a brunch out on the patio overlooking the Marina. They serve bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. Its a great place to gather with friends and family. We were there recently for dinner and it was delicious. Try the hamachi appetizer!
