Attending a Dodgers game is a thrilling experience. The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd. Take your kids or go for date night, just being in the stadium is incredible. But for true baseball loving fans, its really about the game.
I’ll be the first to admit I know zip, nada, null about baseball. I know there’s 9 innings. I know there’s a ball and a bat and you have to run the bases. I know its a great American past time. I know its a true blue celebration of Americana. But what I discovered recently when attending a Dodgers game is that its also an experience, one you’ll never forget. There’s nothing quite like going to a Dodgers game!
Even this baseball neophyte was cheering as Brandon Morrow leaned back, got into his pitching stance and pitched the ball against the Rockies. Powerful!
Now, there was no way I was going to Dodger Stadium without a world famous Dodger dog. My husband informed me that the grilled ones were the best. I’d already passed by the nachos in a baseball hat with jalapenos on top, but I was determined to get a grilled dog. According to Thrillist and the ladies behind the counters at the hot dog stands, the grilled dogs are always near home plate. You just have to ask for them. For a full list of the best eats see this post on Thrillist.
The Dodgers are halfway through their season. There’s still plenty of home games between now and the end of September and there’s plenty of family activities planned at Dodger Stadium too!
