When you have seasonal allergies and live in a dry climate like LA, respiratory health is often a challenge. Over the years we have found that running a humidifier in our bedrooms during the fall and winter months helps keep everyone healthier. Allergy experts will tell you that a warm mist is additionally helpful but keep in mind that a humidifier that heats water is dangerous in a baby or toddler’s room as they can get knocked over and hot water can splash and cause injury.
In my room, I use the Crane 2-in-1 Humidifier and Steam Inhaler. I prefer the warm mist for my ongoing sinus issues. The Crane 2-in-1 is whisper quiet, I don’t hear anything and mist lasts for up to 8 hours, misting 1.8 gallons of moisture per tank. Plus it converts into a personal steam inhaler, which is terrific when you’re congested and you need some extra relief. Most humidifiers on the market require an additional water filter. With Crane, you don’t need a filter and the units are super easy to clean! There’s even an anti-microbial clean base and the plastic is BPA free. Watch this video to see how easy it is to use and to clean!
In baby’s room be sure to use a cool mist humidifier like the Adorables or Drop humidifiers from Crane. These humidifiers are so cute and come in so many options to match baby’s room! We started with an Adorable when my daughter was a baby and moved up to a Drop as she got older and wanted something that worked in her “big kid” room.
Crane is offering 20% OFF the Crane Classic 2-in-1 Warm Mist Humidifier & Steam Inhaler in either Blue & White or White through the end of December. Shop Crane online with code: HOLIDAY20 – expires on December 31, 2017. There are so many options to choose from including travel humidifiers! Don’t get on the road without one!
MomAngeles only writes about things we love. Crane provided a 2-in-1 Humidifer at the LA Baby Show for review, but we’ve used Crane products in our home for almost ten years. We are big fans of Crane! We hope you are too.
